At the Faculty of Social Sciences more than 5.000 students are enrolled in the various courses of study offered by the Geography, History, Political Science and Sociology departments.

It is also possible to enroll into the international Master's course "International Relations" (in cooperation with Jacobs University).

Besides the recently established Bachelor-programmes in Sociology and Political Science and the Master's programme in "Urban and Regional Studies", Bachelor programmes in Geography, History and European Studies as well as a Master's course in Social Policy, Sociology and Polical Sciences are offered.
